MSc Medical Visualisation & Human Anatomy

Haldane Building, 8 students

The MSc in Medical Visualisation and Human Anatomy is a one-year taught postgraduate programme offered by the School of Simulation and Visualisation at The Glasgow School of Art in collaboration with the Anatomy Facility at the University of Glasgow. The programme, accredited by the Institute of Medical Illustrators, provides a unique opportunity to combine 3D modelling, interactive applications development and in-depth study of human anatomy.

In their final research projects, students work across a wide range of life science disciplines, with experts from the College of Medicine, Veterinary and Life Sciences at Glasgow to develop innovative, interactive, and empowering solutions. Research projects often involve using cutting-edge technologies such as volumetric visualisation and high-resolution 3D animations, 3D printing and Extended Reality.

The projects on show in this digital showcase highlight just some of the diverse range of topics explored by students across the programme, and demonstrate the skills and expertise of our graduates.
