Gray: Beyond the Horizon
Gray: Beyond the Horizon is an interactive, multimedia exhibition that invites its audience to journey through the many pages of Alasdair Gray’s Lanark: A Life in 4 Books (1981). Written and designed by Rachel Loughran and produced in collaboration with The Alasdair Gray Archive, the exhibition explores what intrigues lie beyond the multiple horizons of the celebrated Glasgow artist and writer Alasdair Gray.
It was first exhibited at the GSA Graduate Showcase 2022 alongside the 2014 screenprint of Lanark’s Book Jacket and has since been exhibited for Opens Doors Day at The Alasdair Gray Archive.
The in-situ show offered viewers access to its digital content via QR codes. The show continues to be available digitally at www.graybeyondthehorizon.com
