I’m an interior designer with an undergraduate in industrial design, partly focusing on product design and exhibition design. My keen interest is in creating a therapeutic experience for people. My work this year has been focused on combining research-driven concepts with water sounds to create a healing space for people to release their death anxiety. I spent most of my time exploring how to create a guided-therapeutic experience for people combined with musical therapy and let people could explore the space according to sounds. My project will mainly revolve around creating a healing space for people who can do some psychotherapy in the area.

I do some research on musical therapy theory and case studies on healing space. I propose some questions about how to create a healing journey. Could a guided-therapeutic experience bring healing experience to people? How do begin a healing journey for people? How do I present the characteristics of sound/music in the space? What type of healing activities can people do in the area? My project focuses on how to create a healing journey for people. People could explore the space according to sounds and experience four stages in the process: self-reflected, self-exploration, self-expression, and self-discovery. These four stages also represent four different musical therapy, respectively. People could explore four stages according to sounds and complete their healing process.
